Oh thats an intressting one. Just by extrapolating the current benchmark results, if you have tight loops and can use the bytebuddy cursor for iteration you could get near raw array performance even if you require fields from different components. And you could also decide per entityset if you prefer raw performance or low memory consumtion. I write that one on the todo. Just for experimenting.
