I actually had that in the back of my mind too, currently there are a few features missing for that. Following the implementation of the default in memory datasets it would result in one datastore for each component. Also the read/write acces for all non packed stores is at least 3 times slower compared to hashmap. And of course the write methods are currebtly not thread safe. I currently use it as store for the world data and in the pathfinder. Currently working on an goap implementation that uses it too for worldstate saving but that is not working yet.
