I would have thought that was impossible. Iran still claims that they are not giving up their nuclear weapons. This, after saying their nuclear ambitions are only for peaceful purposes. **\n\n**\n**\n\n**The United States and Iran are close to a peace deal. With that being said, there needs to be an open dialogue for peace to happen. What I suggest is that the U.S. open an Embassy in Tehran and that Iran return the favor by opening an Embassy in Washington, DC. Without an Embassy, I believe in my heart that there is no true consensus for peace. As always, comments accepted.**\n\n**\n**\n\n**\n**\n\n**\n**\n\n---\nPresident Trump and Iran are near peace\nImage: Instagram.com\nFortune.India\nSunday, May 24, 2026\n\n\n\n**\n**\n\n**\n**\n\n**\n**\n\n**Source: New York Times. \" U.S. and Iran Signal Move Toward Initial Peace Deal, Details Remain Murky.\" Tehran/Washington, DC: Sunday, May 24, 2026. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/05/24/world/iran-war-trump**\n\n****",
