  "textContent": "**Trans Pride Kent**(TPK) will be held at **Westgate Hall** , **Canterbury** on **Saturday, 28 March**.\n\nThe grassroots Trans Pride will be setting up a trans services, a support network and Fringe Festival with LGBTQ+ run and friendly safe spaces across the city, with stalls, guest speakers, acts, services and more in the Westgate Hall on the day.\n\nOrganisers said: \"The trans community has been under attack in the press and used as political point scoring between parties for as long as any one can remember. It’s time for the trans community of Kent - and all those under the LGBTQ+ umbrella and allies - to stick together, look after one another, and use Pride and the services and support available.\"\n\nThe day is designed to support, celebrate and uplift the trans community of Kent and beyond.\n\nTPK was founded and created by **Shea Coffey** , an avid LGBTQ+ and trans activist who founded **Medway Pride Radio** and **Rainbows Over Medway** , and **Tyler Chitty** , founder and chair of **Herne Bay Pride** , along with their partners **Sarah** and **Kate**.\n\nBoth Shea and Tyler are from the trans community and are multi-award winners for making a big community impact for LGBTQ communities+ locally and beyond.\n\nThe team was recently joined by LGBTQ+ activist**Jordan Chan** , **Swale Pride** director and founder of **Queer Kent Life** , multi-award winning charity fundraiser, former **Mr Gay Great Britain** runner up, and one of this year's **Queer Student Award** judges.\n\nSo join them and the trans community, wider LGBTQ+ community and allies on **Saturday, 28 March** at **Westgate Hall** in **Canterbury**.\n\n💡\n\nCheck out TPK on Facebook and Instagram",
