Schrödinger’s Ayatollah and Umineko: When They Cry

I read a cleverly-titled article by Amit Segal titled Schrödinger’s Ayatollah: Is Mojtaba Dead or Alive? The article examines the life status, or lack thereof, of Iran’s purported Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. As I read the article, I found myself thinking about the iconic Japanese visual novel, Umineko: When They Cry. Then I found myself thinking about the best of its many great music tracks, Happiness of Marionette. Then I had Happiness of Marionette playing on loop in my head. I would explain how one thing led to another, but that would involve too many spoilers.
