More interestingly, Brooklyn Bridge Parents reports that “[i]nterior demolition begins in April or May, with exterior restoration later this year.” It adds that “[a] new restaurant is planned for the ground floor…” There have been many “false starts” regarding the Bossert in recent years, but I have my fingers crossed that SomeraRoad will actually undertake and complete the planned work. You can see the side of the Bossert under the old scaffolding in a photo I took of a Cybertruck.",
