The big problem is knowing exactly where the enemy units are. The soviets are hiding among buildings, with two helicopters in the air, taking potshots at any exposed American unit. My own anti-air hardware, which requires trucks to get into position, is struggling to get the sight lines it needs to fire back. I could try to use my three M103s to dash for the final objective I need, but I’m bound to take losses. So I park my armor force, which dealt with most of the enemy’s tanks, with the backing of my lone artillery unit. And I creep forward with my two Ranger squads, keeping the AA behind them. My special forces deal with two enemy infantry squads and attract attention from the enemy Mi-24. One quickly loses half of its hitpoints, but on my turn the enemy helicopter goes down after three shots from my anti-air.
