"textContent": "This follows up the Lazlow Jones thread a bit, as he was often a driver of the humor on the radio and his own character. However as @universetwisters mentioned, humor is subjective. We have only seen brief glimpses of the game’s humor so far, mainly with billboards and Cal.\n \n\n\n\t \n \n\n\n\tPersonally I’d rather the humor in this game take a step in the Red Dead direction. My honest feeling is that the satire and humor in the GTA series has been a bit too on the nose for me. I get that it’s supposed to be a crazy world, but sometimes it gets to be so much that it just takes me out of it. The series flanderized (the concept of taking character traits and exaggerating them over time until they become a caricature) itself in V and online in my opinion. That isn’t to say that any of the other games were dynamite all the time. My biggest complaint about V bashing is how much IV’s background humor clashes with the story of IV.\n \n\n\n\t \n \n\n\n\tRDR2 is an incredibly funny game in my opinion, but it never comes at the expense of the plot and never felt forced to me. Drunken hijinks with Lenny or an apocalyptic scientist mixing modern concepts of climate change with worrying about how mermaids will cope is right up my alley. I also don’t want Cal to just be Nervous Ron II.\n \n\n\n\t \n \n\n\n\tAnyway, what are your thoughts? Would you like the humor to continue as is or change meaningfully?",
