GTAVI / Theory

I have a theory about GTA VI. Palm trees appear frequently above Jason and Lucia in the promotional visuals, and I don’t think it’s just a coincidence. In my opinion, this could be a reference to Haiti, given that the palm tree is a significant symbol of the country. The trailer also features a moment that seems to reference Haiti, notably showing the flag and a palm tree. That detail really stood out to me. What catches my attention even more is that we see a weapon pointed toward that island on several occasions. On the official artwork, you can spot a mark resembling a bullet hole on a palm tree, while Lucia’s weapon is aimed in that direction, as if she had just fired. Furthermore, Lucia’s weapon appears to feature a palm tree design that also shows a similar hole. I find this parallel quite intriguing. My theory, then, is that Lucia might kill Jason in Haiti, or perhaps both characters will meet their end there. All these elements give me the impression that Rockstar is subtly preparing us for a tragic event linked to that location.
