"textContent": "I \n \n\n\n\thad an idea for GTA VI that could bring back GTA V nostalgia in a much stronger way than just random cameos.\n \n\n\n\tImagine this:\n \n\n\n\tThere is a completely hidden side path in the game. No question marks, no letters on the map, no obvious markers. You only discover it by naturally exploring the world and helping someone during a random situation.\n \n\n\n\tAfter the first hidden mission, the NPC tells you something like: \n\t“meet me here in 2 days.”\n \n\n\n\tAgain, nothing is marked on the map. If you remember the location and actually show up in time, the second hidden mission starts. If you miss the window, the entire chain is permanently gone for that playthrough.\n \n\n\n\tNow imagine later during a major main mission, maybe while escaping police, the same person suddenly calls and tells you: \n\t“come here now.”\n \n\n\n\tAt the same time, the main mission objective is still telling you to go somewhere else to finish the mission normally.\n \n\n\n\tYou only get like 3 seconds to decide, similar to old Resident Evil 3 live selections.\n \n\n\n\tIf you choose the hidden option, suddenly a cinematic starts and you end up in Los Santos.\n \n\n\n\tNot modern tourist LS either. Actual “days gone by” feeling. GTA VI engine version of LS.\n \n\n\n\tYour character has to stay hidden there for a while similar to how Michael had to disappear after Caida Libre in GTA V.\n \n\n\n\tThen during 2 or 3 missions you reconnect with the GTA V legends:\n \n\n\n\t\n\t\tMichael is now a well known film producer\n\t\n\t\n\t\tFranklin owns a legit sports car / customization business\n\t\n\t\n\t\tTrevor is still Trevor but older and somehow legally surviving may be with a fleet of planes for transporting goods and people.\n\t\n\n\n\n\tYou can switch between them again during missions and slowly build a real connection between the GTA VI protagonist and the old crew.\n \n\n\n\tFunny missions, sarcasm, nostalgia, old references, seeing how LS changed over time etc.\n \n\n\n\tThen eventually your character returns back to the GTA VI main story after the need to hide condition is lifted or you get the money via LS missions to pay back.\n \n\n\n\tI think this would hit way harder emotionally than simple cameo appearances because players would have to EARN discovering it through exploration and choices instead of Rockstar just handing it to everyone automatically. \n\twhat do you guys think? isn't this better than simple cameo?",
