"textContent": "To members living in Ireland, with the new EU €3 customs duty coming in on July 1st, what’s your preferred online retailer now?\n\nFor me, I’ve mostly used either Amazon.co.uk (or bought directly from IOSS-registered labels like Arrow, Indicator, Second Sight, etc.) for UK/IE releases. Amazon.com for US releases, and Amazon.de for the occasional EU release. But items from the .co.uk and .com sites will now have the €3 duty, and since Amazon often ships items in separate packages, it could cost €3 per disc. The same goes for HMV—they’re IOSS-registered but based in the UK, and they seem to ship separately sometimes, just like Amazon.\n\nThe easiest solution would be to use Amazon.ie, but it has a much worse selection than the UK site, and they don’t seem to have any of the offers the UK site does (like 2 for £30 4k etc.).\n\nGoldenDiscs is another Irish option, but their selection isn’t exactly amazing (no boutique labels), and their prices are way higher than Amazon. Even though they have a great 2 for €25 4k offer, it seems like they’re phasing it out because the selection is getting smaller all the time.\n\nI’ve never used Rarewaves (their website is a bit of a mess), but from what I can tell, they’re based in the UK too?\n\niMusic seems like a good EU-based (Denmark) option. They have a great selection of boutique labels, they stock UK/IE and US releases, and the prices aren’t too bad, but they’re still quite a bit more expensive than Amazon or HMV.\n\nSo, what are peoples thoughts? It seems like the only option is to check 6 or 7 different sites now.",
