Vinterberg’s last film was 2020’s “Another Round,” which won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film and numerous other awards, including the BAFTA and César in the same category. It’s been six years since “Another Round,” and in an interview with Kino DK (via FilmUpdates), Spidey himself, Tom Holland, revealed that he is collaborating on a film with Vinterberg. ---Quote--- I love Thomas Vinterberg. We’re working on another project together and it’s very exciting […] So, I’m really excited to be able to work with him on a long-format project. I can’t share what it is yet, too soon. ---End Quote--- Vinterberg and Holland previously collaborated on a Prada commercial in 2025. Holland, 30, won’t be playing Spider-Man forever, and he’s slowly starting to work on various non-MCU projects with different directors, including, of course, Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.” He’s also expected to shoot two films next year: Paul King’s Fred Astaire biopic and Jason Bateman’s John Grisham adaptation, “The Partner.” Vinterberg, who also earned an Oscar nomination for Best Director for “Another Round” and previously won the Cannes Jury Prize for his very memorable “The Celebration” (“Festen”), is known for his provocative character studies.
