*Filmokaz* is the first Croatian Blu-ray label. Our focus will primarily be on releasing classics of Yugoslav cinema. Most of our releases will be world Blu-ray premieres. All films, as well as special features, will include English subtitles. Per the agreement, our releases will be locked to Region B. We are proud to introduce our debut release: I EVEN MET HAPPY GYPSIES In the harsh regions of Vojvodina, a Romani man named Beli Bora survives by collecting and reselling goose feathers. His life becomes complicated when he falls in love with young Tisa, the stepdaughter of his business rival Mirta. This leads to conflict, jealousy, and tragic events that will change their destinies forever. *I Even Met Happy Gypsies* is an anthology masterpiece of Yugoslav cinema and the Black Wave. The film won the Golden Arenas in Pula for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Cinematography. It was also awarded the Grand Prix and the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and received an Academy Award nomination. First time on Blu-ray. Restored by the Yugoslav Film Archive. Limited to 1,000 copies.
