So tomorrow is Father's Day and I am a father, and both of my adult children love me very much and live in our area, but one of them does not drive and gets sick on buses and the other one's fiancee's relative has scheduled a wedding for tomorrow (which: fuck those guys! No one ever schedules weddings for Mother's Day, right?), and she's going to that wedding even though her fiance will actually be on a business trip because she wants to represent, which severely constricts the window she can visit, and we're trying to figure it all out and damn, man, it is not supposed to be this stressful. I mean, all I ever want for Father's Day is to sit on the deck in nice weather and eat good food someone else has prepared. That's it. I'm very simple.
