"textContent": "_Paul J. Glenn_\n\n**A Tour of the Summa**\n\nReprint of the Edition 1960, St. Louise, London\n\n**Abstract**\n\nGlenn’s _A Tour of the Summa_ is not a translation but a reader’s guide or „abridgement in English“ designed to lead students through St. Thomas Aquinas’s monumental _Summa Theologica_. The book follows the original structure of the _Summa_ —moving from God (Part I), to morals (Part I-II and II), and to Christ and the sacraments (Part III)—while paraphrasing, condensing, and clarifying Aquinas’s arguments into more accessible language. It preserves the essential questions, objections, and replies, serving as a popular introduction for beginners who find the original Latin or length daunting.\n\n**About the Author**\n\nPaul Joseph Glenn, Ph.D (1893-1957) was a Catholic priest. He served as President of the College-Seminary of St. Charles Borromeo in Columbus, Ohio. Glenn was a staunch defender of the Catholic Faith, often using his genius writing talents to do so. He was a witty teacher at St. Charles Preparatory School and Seminary, and served as the rector and principal from 1945-1957.\n\n### **Hardcover, 478 pp., 14,8 x 21 cm**\n\n### **69,90 €, US$ 79,90, AUD 109,00**\n\n### **ISBN: 978-3-86838-315-7**\n\nany questions?\n\n order now",
