Commented: How can I install Lotus Approach on a new system?

Asked about Lotus Approach.The answer of Swati Dubey is wrong. It doesn't run in that way. I had made 6 installs of Lotus Approach with success. Compatibility mode doesn't work. The problem isn't the program. Is the installer. This is what you have to do.

1. If you have more than one storage unit, SSD, HD's. be sure drive D: is available for the CD Rom unit.
2. If you have only one storage device, C; drive. Proceed to next stage.
3. Copy the Lotus Smartsuite Disk to a pen drive.
4. If the Installer doesn't see a CD-Rom as a D: drive, all the available drives will be market as read only, or worse, it will not allow to install m anyplace but drive D; that is read only.
5. If you try the install from the CD, it will give an error.
6. After you copy the contents of Lotus Smartsuite, proceed to install Approach. Only choose Appoach, nothing more. Never tested with any other program. So is not guaranteed to work.
7. After some minutes the installation is done. Is so fast, you may think the installation hangs. After that install the 2 IBM Fixpacks. You may get those in some repositories.
