Replacing existing systems

When people say that we cannot replace existing systems like banking, I only agree if the meaning is that we will fail if we try to replace them wholesale. That will run afoul of Gall's law. Replacing them piecemeal, from scratch, like DeFi is doing, is a lot more likely to work.
