Nathan Fillion Admits Firefly Animated Series Has No Studio Greenlighting It

After building up a huge announcement over several days, Nathan Fillion has released a new video letting fans know it’s all just a proposed idea, and that there’s no studio that’s picked them up for distribution or streaming, despite the cast of Firefly having chosen writers to do a project, meaning a Firefly animated series may not even happen in reality.
