What is Logue?

Blogging platform? News aggregator? Events journal? New Twitter? Logging service? The answer is... everything. Logue is an idea, Logue is a utility, Logue is a protocol, Logue is a standard. It sounds loud and arrogant, but bear with me and let me explain.

What does it cost to be informed? In today's economy it is practically free money-wise, but the real price is still high - we pay with our attention. X, reddit, facebook, instagram, news outlets and aggregators, - everything is built to keep your attention locked as long as possible to make you scroll more. Add to that platform-lock and you are trapped. If you care about something, whether it is some news topic or personal hobby community, if you want to be informed about it you have to open the attention-farming swamp and swim through it to find that one piece that will make you happy and affirm you that all this time you just spent - it wasn't for nothing. But I belive with all my heart - we can do better, we can get out, and we can claim our time and attention back.
