  "textContent": "Add a new rule named “Competitive Research” with the following text: There is a publicly tracked Research Target which is either empty or a Bacterium, defaulting to empty, and a publicly tracked Research Bonus which is a number that defaults to 0. If the Research Bonus is 0, any Geneticist may Initiate Research, which is an atomic action with the following steps: * Find the most improved Gene among all Genes of all Bacterium in all Geneticists’ Petri Dishes. This is the Base Target Gene. If this is X, Y, or Z, then the rest of the steps in this action must be skipped. * Set the Research Target to a Bacterium where each Gene in that Bacterium is set to a publicly randomly selected value among the set of Genes that are one level improved, two levels improved, and three levels improved from the Base Target Gene. Example: if the Base Target Gene is F, the set would be {G,H,I}. * Count the number of Geneticists who have at least one Bacterium with the Base Target Gene and call this amount the Competitive Geneticists. * Set the Research Bonus to 3 times the amount of Competitive Geneticists. Any time the Research Bonus is greater than 0, if a Geneticist owns a Petri Dish containing a Bacterium with Genes that exactly match the Genes (in both value and order) of the Research Target, and that Geneticist has not performed Claim the Bonus with that Research Target in this dynasty, that Geneticist may perform Claim the Bonus as an atomic action with the following steps: * Increase that Geneticist’s Agar by the Research Bonus. * Decrease the Research Bonus by 3. If the Research Bonus is greater than 0 and has been the same value for the past 168 hours, the Firm or any Geneticist may set it to 0.",
