Guardians of the Guild

In the rule “Vessels”, insert the following as the fifth paragraph in that rule:Any associate with a vessel with an attack greater than 0 may Fight Piracy as an action in a system that vessel is stationed in. All valid vessels owned by that associate in that system will be “involved”. When they do so, as an atomic action the associate:Gain credits equal to the total Attack of all vessels involved. Reduces the corruption of that system’s Director by an amount equal to the total Attack of all vessels involved, to a minimum of 0 Reduces each involved vessel’s defense by 1. Gives each vessel involved the publicly tracked tag Exhaustion. If a vessel’s defense drops to 0, it will gain the publicly tracked tag Out of Commission. A vessel with Exhaustion and/or Out of Commission does not count as valid to be used to initiate or otherwise be involved in a Fight Piracy action. The associate may Rearm as a timed action to remove Exhaustion from all vessels with the tag they own, and may at any time spend credits equal to one of their vessel’s base defense to remove Out of Commission from that vessel, at which point that vessel’s defense returns to its base value.
