  "textContent": "Rename the rule “Claiming” to “Claiming (Old)”.\n\nIn the rule “Claiming (Old)” insert the following as the first paragraph in that rule:\n\nIf the Round is greater than 1, any Defuser or the Supervisor may repeal this rule and the rest of this rule is flavour text.\n\n\nAdd a new subrule to Cutting Wires named “Claiming”, positioning this new rule just before the rule “Claiming (Old)”, then give it the following text:\n\n\nIf the Round is greater than 1, any Defuser or the Supervisor may remove this paragraph from this rule. The rest of this rule is flavor text.\n\nEach Defuser has a publicly tracked Claim, which is either blank (the default) or another Defuser, or the Supervisor, or an idle Defuser.\n\nFor each non-defused Design, each Defuser has a Claim Points, which is a number that defaults to 0 and is tracked in the comments to that Design’s Story Post. When a Design is first created, each Defuser’s Claim Points for that Design is the default value for Claim Points. A non-Defused Design is either Claimed or Unclaimed, and is Unclaimed by default.\n\nWhile a non-Defused Design is Unclaimed, any Defuser other than that Design’s creator may set their Claim Points for that Design by making a comment to that Design’s Story Post detailing a single amount of Claim Points that meets all of the following criteria:\n* That amount is greater than that Defuser’s current Claim Points for that Design.\n* That amount is not equal to any other Defuser’s current Claim Points for that Design.\n* That amount plus the sum of that Defuser’s Claim Points across all other non-Defused Designs is no greater than 20.\n\nFor each non-defused Design, if every Defuser other than that Design’s creator has Claim Points greater than 0 for that Design, that Design is considered Claimed. While a non-defused Design is Claimed, the Defuser with the highest Claim Points on that Design is considered to be claiming that Design, and that Defuser’s Claim is set to that Design’s creator.\n\nIf an Unclaimed Design was created at least 72 hours ago, while there are Defusers who have 0 Claim Points on that Design, the creator of that Design or the Supervisor may publicly randomly select a Defuser among those Defusers and make a comment to that Design setting that selected Defuser’s Claim Points for that Design to an amount closest to 1 that is not equal to any other Defuser’s Claim Points on that Design.\n\nIf a Defuser is claiming a Design that has had no Active Wires at any point in the last 48 hours, as an atomic action anyone may make a comment to that Design setting that Defuser’s Claim Points for that Design to be 0 and set that Defuser’s Claim to blank. If a Defuser is claiming a Design for which that Defuser is on the list of Defusers Who Failed, as an atomic action anyone may make a comment to that Design setting that Defuser’s Claim Points for that Design to be 0 and set that Defuser’s Claim to blank.",
