"plaintext": "Tuesday was my pre-operative assessment. Not had this as an outpatient before, so didn't realise it involved an ECG, blood tests and a 45-minute interview. Luckily, my new tumbler keeps water cold enough that I have increased my fluid intake, so the blood test was taken from my arm, and it was an easy draw.\n\nThanks to some friends, I didn't have to navigate the buses, etc., and rocked up early. It was all done so quickly, thankfully, as I had only managed two hours' sleep that night."

"plaintext": "Day of CT scan, and it's bucketing down, so I was grateful to have a ride back to the hospital. Rocked up early again. Straight in, canula inserted, scan done. Even though the formulation has changed, I still get overheated, and a bit dizzy, and nauseated afterwards. The fact that I had to fast beforehand probably didn't help. The nausea lasted well into the evening. "
