So, the old Which Wich space in the Hope Valley Commons shopping center is finally getting a new occupant: Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings.

This chain restaurant's got locations in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland - as well as a few scattered around North Carolina (High Point, Greensboro, Charlotte, Hickory). But this will be the first Hangry Joe's in Durham.

Popular items (besides the Nashville-style chicken) include a signature chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and mac and cheese. Spice levels are reported as strong, with their "medium" hotter than typical Buffalo sauce. Price points: generally higher than Popeye's and Chick-fil-A.
