MY INTRODUCTION

Hello, and welcome to my first ever newsletter dedicated to Tales from the Horrorweb. I call it, The Horrorweb Inquirer. It's an all new newsletter, filled with movie reviews, exciting events that are happening soon or current, sneak previews of my upcoming stories, and tons of stuff. After all, it takes courage for you to come across here. But first, allow me to introduce myself.

I'm Cyber Phantom. I'm one of those, who created the Horrorweb. It's a place where scary stories are shared. But before I did that, I was created in 1982 by computer programmers who thought up of a good idea to create a digital storyteller tell them stories about dark magic, ghosts, goblins, slashers, monsters, and the unknown. The stories I tell my beta testers, are known to be bone chilling, and they never expected me to be their favorite.

I would go on for years, telling each and every story, until I was abandoned in 1989. Since then, I found my calling, online. I started to create my home in 1994. A chatroom that talks about everything horror. Then, in 1996, I got the chance to turn it into a website, where people could tell many stories. I was the amongst to tell them tales that will give them nightmares. I knew then, I found my call. I was known, worldwide. Since then, I would always conjure up new tales that make horror fans keep coming back for more.

And today, I have started this newsletter, as a way to appreciate all of you. This is the first edition for this weeks publication. I'm hoping that some will be able to enjoy this. Now, it's time to begin our newsletter.

CYBER PHANTOM'S MOVIE REVIEWS

Wishmaster (1997)

"Be careful what you wish for."

Wishing wells, Treasure Trolls (Remember those toys?), and wishing stones. Those things never know what might hit em. If you're wishing for a horror movie you would want to see, that this is something that is granted for you. This film, Wishmaster, follows Alex, who discovers a gem, only to unleash an evil genie that can grant you a wish, only for every wish to turn out to have disastrous result.

I don't know about you, but this movie is something I would never expect, but this movie is something that I could wish to see again sometime in the future. For the most part, I'd say this horror film deserves a thumbs up for it's great special effects. Also, I did see the sequel, and I'd say that I find this to be a little bit of a mess, but, meh, I'll take what I can get for a sequel. I'll just stick with the first film. I don't take pleasure in seeing the third and fourth film anytime soon. You don't wanna know why.

Anyways, I'd recommend you see this movie for yourself, if you wish to look for something that's sure to be truly a cult classic.

HORRORWEB TRIVIA

Did you know, that Send Me a Demon is actually a reference to the title of the song Send Me an Angel by Real Life? The story, Send Me A Demon, follows a teen who is picked on. Eventually she befriends a demon who will stop at nothing to protect her from any enemies that are tormenting her.

POLLS OF FATE

What next episode should I make this about? I'm feeling a little bit out of ideas, so this is the first time I need help from you. I'm running a poll to see what you people think. So, which is it gonna be?

WHAT'S THE SCOOP THIS WEEK?

Dario Argento has announced three new movies as part of a trilogy. The films will be directed by Gabriele Altobelli, and are titled as Flesh of My Flesh, The Girl With Crystal Eyes, and The Black Velvet Mask.

A QUICK PREVIEW OF A NEW EPISODE OF TALES FROM THE HORRORWEB

This new episode will drop as soon as next week.

The year is 1996. Robert was working at a TV station, located in the streets of New York City. Tonight, he’s working on a late night talk show called, Spending the Evening with Julie. It’s a show full of sketches, special guests, and performances. He was still in his internship. His job is to handle the cameras. He is chosen for camera two. He wonders if his friends would be able to watch the show, even his old friends. He got the job when he graduated from college years ago. He doesn’t know it, but he was about to be given an opportunity of a lifetime. It was something that he might never forget, since he does love his job.

Meanwhile, somewhere in an apartment room, at least four people live here. Their names are Kelly, Kurtis, Dora, and Shelby. They just turned on the television to tune in for the show. All they are seeing right now is a rerun of a sitcom, and a few commercial breaks in between. They are all the new friends of Robert. The apartment room belongs to Dora’s. She would invite her friends over to see episodes Spending the Evening with Julie. And somewhere in Robert’s hometown, just off the coast of Rhode Island. Two of Robert’s old friends, Quincy and Tyler, are sitting down at a local diner to watch the episode Robert is going to film.

TALES FROM THE HORRORWEB THE AUDIO ONLY SERIES SEASON 2?

I never thought that I would say this, but Tales from the Horrorweb The Audio Only Series is possibly coming back for a second season. That's right. Ever since the series was created, it's premise is simple. Telling the stories through audio, and there is going to be some changes to the formula. Not only will it bring in a different story each week, based on the original short stories by Gavan Prior himself, but will also feature some stories that are not based on the series.

Or maybe, we could bring Relics of Evil to life. I'm thinking maybe that could be something I could do. Whichever works, I'm sure to be ready whenever it comes to view.

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. SEE YOU NEXT WEEK.
