A feel good/nice novel, that has something to say with a deeper meaning

I’ve just finished “Never let me go”, and ”Frankenstein”, and would like something a bit happier to read! I’d like something a bit niche, but maybe with a dedicated fan base to read others interpretations. Not really into fantasy or romance so much, but those are my only two no’s. by K4105
