Looking for a book that’s not full of stereotypes

I'd like to once read a book that has queer topics or characters in it but doesn't just focus on stereotypical teen romance or BL/GL stuff. Just generally something realistic. Maybe even a non-fiction book or something focusing on lifestyle and/or philosophical things. by System_Shutdown_
