Mystery books that make me go what the F

I have never ever read a mystery book that left me satisfied. Not even TV, comic, anime, etc. My problem with mysteries is that if the Suspects are A, B and C, the murdered turns out either to be unrelated, Character Q, or Charater A, which everyone knew was the murderer.
