Ancient Civilization / alternative history fiction?

Has anyone written any good alternative history? Specifically that covers pre-dynastic Egypt and younger dryas, ancient civilization stuff? It could include ancient aliens/ancient astronaut stuff.. but more looking for alternate history including an advanced pre-modern civilization.
