Should I buy The Count of Monte Cristo?

So I ordered these two books a week ago by Reddit recommendation East of Eden by John Steinbeck and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. Amazon being Amazon, delivered only EoE and misplaced TCoMC.
