Books similar to Only Lovers Left Alive (movie)

I recently watched Only Lovers Left Alive and I cannot stop thinking about it. Could anyone recommend books that are similar? It doesn't have to be supernatural/fantasy/horror. I should mention, I've read the first five Vampire Chronicles books. Thanks in advance 🙂 by savagehomeangarden
