Read aloud chapter books for a 4 year old girl?

My daughter is really into what I can only describe as 'little kid slice of life' books. There's barely anything going on, nothing particularly interesting anyway, but written nicely, showing stuff that is important to kids like games they play, dynamics between friends, exciting little trinkets they found etc. You'd probably call them cosy, relaxed.
