  "textContent": "The alleged incident happened in a classroom at the Milford Comprehensive School (Picture: The Pembrokeshire Herald/Wales News Service)\n\nA teenager accused of attempting to murder his teacher with a kitchen knife at a Welsh school has appeared in court.\n\nThe boy, who was 15 at the time, allegedly stabbed his teacher, Vicky Williams, in the head at Milford Haven Comprehensive School.\n\nProsecutors described the alleged incident on February 5 as a ‘murderous attack’ during the hearing at Swansea Crown Court yesterday.\n\nThe boy, who is now 16 and cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly brought the blade into school hidden in his bag.\n\nChristopher Rees KC told the court: ‘The prosecution say the defendant planned and launched a murderous attack.\n\n##  Sign up for all of the latest stories\n\nStart your day informed with Metro's **News Updates** newsletter or get **Breaking News** alerts the moment it happens.\n\nThe Pembrokeshire school was placed in a lockdown following the alleged attack on February 5, 2026 (Picture: The Pembrokeshire Herald/Wales News Service)\n\n‘He deliberately stabbed Vicki Williams in the head.’\n\nThe boy has denied attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and unlawful wounding. He admitted possessing a blade.\n\nThe alleged attack took place on a Wednesday afternoon after the boy is said to have followed Ms Williams into the empty classroom.\n\nThe pair are said to have ended up in a struggle, with the boy allegedly pushing her into a chair as she tried to grab the knife.\n\nMs Williams suffered a stab wound to the head and defensive injuries to her hands, along with scratches and small cuts, the court was told.\n\nShe screamed for help, and the teen allegedly fled the scene.\n\nThe teacher was taken to hospital after the emergency services were called to the school, which was locked down.\n\nShe was discharged later the same evening.\n\nMilford Haven School said the ‘distressing’ incident had been ‘unsettling’ for the community.\n\nThe school said in a statement at the time: ‘Following the very distressing incident that took place in school last week, we want to take a moment to acknowledge how unsettling this has been for our whole community.
