  "textContent": "Michael Carrick will see a shake-up to his goalkeeping options (Picture: Getty Images)\n\nManchester United are looking for a new goalkeeper and Scotland’s Angus Gunn has emerged on their radar.\n\nSenne Lammens has firmly established himself as the first choice in goal for the Red Devils after an impressive first season with the club, but there is set to be shake-up behind him.\n\nAltay Bayindir was back-up to Lammens last season, while Andre Onana was on loan at Trabzonspor and has now returned to Old Trafford.\n\nNeither are thought to have futures with Manchester United, with the club looking to offload Onana and interest in Bayindir from Besiktas in his home country, Turkey.\n\n##  Don't miss a World Cup moment\n\n(Picture: Getty)\n\n\nWe're witnessing history at this World Cup – our daily newsletter helps you make the most of it. Sign up.\n\nIf both were to leave, then Lammens would only have veteran stopper Tom Heaton in reserve, after the 40-year-old signed a new one-year contract this summer.\n\nThe Red Devils are searching for another goalkeeper, one that would be happy to play second fiddle to Lammens.\n\nLeeds United’s Karl Darlow has been linked, as has Wolves’ Sam Johnstone, who came through the youth ranks at Manchester United.\n\nAngus Gunn is Scotland’s first choice goalkeeper at the World Cup (Picture: Getty Images)\n\nAlso on their radar is Scotland’s Angus Gunn, reports The Sun, who is available on a free transfer after just one year at Nottingham Forest.\n\nAfter four seasons at Norwich, the 30-year-old joined Forest last summer on a one-year deal but has been released after making just one appearance.\n\nThat has not stopped him from being Scotland’s first choice at the World Cup this summer, though, starting all three group games stateside.\n\nGunn made just one Premier League appearance last season (Picture: Getty Images)\n\nGunn has not actually played in the Premier League much over his career, making nine top flight appearances for Norwich in 2021/22 and 22 for Southampton from 2018-20.\n\nHowever, he has played a lot in the Championship, with over 200 professional appearances to his name.\n\nManchester United also have Radek Vitek on their books, returning to the club after a loan spell with Bristol City.\n\nHowever, the 23-year-old is likely to leave as he wants first team football, linked with the likes of Hull City and Coventry City.\n\nComment now Comments \nAdd Metro as a Preferred Source on Google\nAdd as preferred source\n",
