  "textContent": "Bagpipers marched along Ocean Drive in Miami (Picture: PA)\n\nScottish football fans are preparing to fill up venues in Miami to watch as Steve Clarke’s men face Brazil tonight.\n\nThe Tartan Army has travelled all the way to Miami ahead of their third and final group game, which kicks off at 11pm UK time tonight.\n\nSimilar to scenes in Boston, Miami bars were filled with a sea of tartan, and fans even held two parades in the city.\n\nDuring the parades, Scotland fans and Brazil fans got on like a house on fire, cheering each other’s nations on and wishing them the best of luck for Wednesday’s clash.\n\nVehicles from the Miami fire department appeared with open rooftops, offering the Tartan Army the chance to hop on board.\n\nAnd the Glasweigan tradition of placing traffic cones on the heads of statues has officially been given the green light by Miami police.\n\n##  Sign up for all of the latest stories\n\nStart your day informed with Metro's **News Updates** newsletter or get **Breaking News** alerts the moment it happens.\n\nPolice commissioner Rolando Escalona took a video with a Scottish fan and said, ‘Welcome to Miami, guys. Glad to have you here. Let’s get the party started. Welcome to Little Havana. I hope to see you all today and throughout the weekend.’\n\nPolice officers gave an escort to the parade (Picture: PA)\n\nThe fan who filmed the video remarked: ‘You will not believe this – we’re in Little Havana with the actual commissioner in Miami and he has just put a cone on a chicken.\n\n‘All cones are now welcome. Spread the word to the Tartan Army. Miami is welcoming us now.’\n\nBack home in Scotland, thousands of fans are expected to watch the game at fan zones across Scotland, including the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow and The Pitt in Edinburgh.\n\nAt both venues, the fans will be shown the game on gigantic screens, with the atmosphere pumped up to fever pitch ahead of kick-off with music, chanting and rousing speeches.\n\nChris Cairns, from Auchterarder, Perth and Kinross, was one of many fans who watched the Morocco game at the Hydro on Friday.\n\nFans are going on boat cruises, packing out bars and holding parades (Picture: PA)\n\nHe said watching the game at the fan zone was the next best thing after seeing it in real life.\n\n‘We just love following Scotland,’ the 35-year-old said. ‘My dad and I go to all the games, and because we couldn’t get across to America, we thought this was the second best thing.’\n\nThis was echoed by John Wight, from Bishopton, Renfrewshire, who said he wanted to watch the game alongside other Scotland fans.\n\n‘It’s a good idea to come to the Hydro,’ he said. ‘It’s the biggest venue in Scotland.’\n\nFans across the country will be hoping to see the national team bounce back from their 1-0 defeat against Morocco on Friday night and secure their place in the next round of the competition.\n\nA win would see Scotland make it beyond a World Cup group stage for the first time.
