"textContent": "England manager Thomas Tuchel (Picture: Getty)\n\nMarcus Rashford has emerged as a slight injury worry for England’s second World Cup group game against Ghana on Tuesday.\n\nRashford scored off the bench as Thomas Tuchel’s side won 4-2 against Croatia in their World Cup opener in Dallas.\n\nHowever, the 28-year-old is said to have experienced some muscle discomfort and subsequently did not play in England’s practice game on Thursday against Sporting Kansas City, which featured the rest of the subs from the win over Croatia.\n\nIt is hoped that Rashford’s issue is no more than a minor niggle, but the Manchester United winger will likely undergo further checks as England ramp up their preparations for their clash with Ghana in Boston.\n\n## Don't miss a World Cup moment\n\nLionel Messi’s hat-trick. Cape Verde’s heroics. Those Scottish fans.\n\nIt’s been a memorable World Cup so far – our daily newsletter helps you make the most of it. Sign up.\n\nRashford is one of a few players whose condition England will be monitoring in the coming days following their impressive win over Croatia.\n\nCaptain Harry Kane was seen walking past the media with strapping on his left calf, although that is said to have been related to cramp rather than any injury.\n\nDeclan Rice was seen limping after he was subbed off midway through England’s first game, but was keen to allay any fears over a serious injury.\n\nMarcus Rashford scored against Croatia off the bench (Picture: Getty)\n\n‘All good, good as gold,’ Rice told ITV.\n\n‘Just what I’ve been nursing probably in the second half of the season, little neural pains here and there, but I’m all good.\n\n‘All fine, just precaution and I’ll be back out there against Ghana.’\n\nBukayo Saka and Declan Rice are both managing injuries (Picture: Getty)\n\nSpeaking post-match on Rice’s withdrawal, Tuchel added: ‘Declan pointed to his lower back, upper hamstring and feels some discomfort,’ the German told reporters post-match.\n\n‘I didn’t want to take any risks. It was a moment to protect him. I hope it’s nothing more. Declan reassured me at the end it’s good. It’s nothing big to worry about.’\n\nElsewhere, Bukayo Saka will be hoping to prove his fitness after starting on the bench against Croatia.\n\nSaka is still dealing with an ongoing Achilles issue, and Tuchel conceded the Arsenal winger may have to wait until England’s final group game for his first start of the tournament.\n\n‘Bukayo is ready and will get more and more ready,’ the German said.\n\n‘I think once we go to the last game of this group he will be ready. He was strong in training yesterday in small spaces. It was just a matter of if the game was open and was up and down.’\n\n**For more stories like this, check our sport page**.\n\n**Follow Metro Sport for the latest news on**Facebook,** Twitter and Instagram**.\n\nComment now Comments \nAdd Metro as a Preferred Source on Google\nAdd as preferred source\n",
