"textContent": "The World Cup is taking centre stage this summer (Picture: Getty)\n\nFootball fans will be in dreamland over the next five weeks with all 104 World Cup games set to be shown live on TV.\n\nMillions of people across the country will be tuning in to catch a glimpse of the action, which gets underway tonight, with the BBC and ITV once again sharing the broadcasting rights in the UK.\n\nSeveral late nights and early mornings await for TV viewers, however, with the tournament taking place across the USA, Canada and Mexico.\n\nWhilst the most high-profile group stage matches have been scheduled for relatively sociable hours, including England’s fixtures against Croatia (9pm), Ghana (9pm) and Panama (10pm), several other games likely to be of particular interest to UK audiences have been handed a less favourable slot.\n\n## All the World Cup action\n\nGet everything you need to know about the World Cup – England updates, the games to watch and stories you missed – in five minutes, at 1pm, every day.
