Sign up now.\n\nAccording to Gazzetta dello Sport, Leao’s preference is to join the Premier League and the player’s representatives have now contacted Arsenal to discuss a potential move to Mikel Arteta’s side.\n\nRafael Leao is currently preparing for Portugal’s World Cup campaign (Reuters)\n\nSpeaking in an interview with Sport TV last weekend, Leao made it clear that he wants to leave AC Milan before the start of next season.\n\n‘I think I gave Milan everything I could give. It is a club that helped me grow a lot and supported me through difficult moments. I am happy to have left my mark on the club’s history,’ Leao said.\n\n‘Everyone has their dreams, their challenges, the things they desire, the goals they want to reach. And I too want to try a new challenge in a new league.’\n\nLeao is currently with Portugal’s squad as they prepare for their World Cup campaign.
