(Picture: Kent Police/PA Wire)\n\nTwo rare miniature horses have been stolen from a farm in Kent overnight, prompting a police investigation.\n\nThe pair, both standing approximately 2ft 8in tall, are believed to have been taken from a property on Marsh Green Road near Edenbridge sometime between 8pm on May 27 and 1am on May 28.\n\nKent Police were called and a damaged gate was also reported as part of the incident.\n\nThe two horses – a stallion and a mare – are understood to be a breeding pair of rare Argentine Falabellas.\n\nIt is one of the smallest horse breeds in the world and it typically costs between £1,500 to £6,000.\n\n## Sign up for all of the latest stories\n\nStart your day informed with Metro's **News Updates** newsletter or get **Breaking News** alerts the moment it happens.\n\nThe stallion has been described by police as white with brown spots while the mare has been described as black.\n\nKent Police have conducted CCTV enquiries in the area in a bid to locate the stolen horses.\n\nThe force has since released images of the stallion and is appealing for the public’s help locating the stolen ponies.\n\nA photo of the missing stallion has been released by the police.
