  "textContent": "Maguire will not be on the plane to US (Picture: Getty)\n\nHarry Maguire’s mum has been left ‘absolutely disgusted’ with her son being left out of England’s World Cup squad by Thomas Tuchel.\n\nThe 26-man group heading out for the United States, Mexico and Canada will be officially confirmed on Friday morning but a spate of leaks have revealed a host of stars have been axed.\n\nBefore any official news dropped, Maguire himself revealed he had been dumped by the England boss on Thursday evening with the Manchester United defender venting his frustration on social media.\n\n‘I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I wish the players, all the best this summer.’\n\nHis mum’s Zoe echoed those sentiments, writing on Z: ‘Absolutely disgusted.’\n\nReplying to her son’s social media post, she added: ‘You couldn’t have done anymore. Hold your head high …Disgraceful.’\n\n> https://www.instagram.com/p/C4JBPgcsqBd/?img_index=1\n\nWhile the official squad list is still to be announced, leaks would suggest Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, John Stones and Dan Burn have been selected ahead of Maguire at centre-half with Levi Colwill of Chelsea also left out.\n\nMaguire was a pivotal figure for England under Gareth Southgate, part of the defensive unit that saw them reach the World Cup 2018 semi-final and the final of Euro 2020.
