Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was quick to congratulate Marcus Rashford on his La Liga success while on loan at Barcelona.
The England forward had a night of dreams on Sunday as he scored a brilliant free-kick to open the scoring against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
Barca would go on to win El Clasico 2-0 and secure the league title in the process as they are 14 points clear of Real Madrid with three games to play.
Rashford is on loan at Barcelona from Manchester United for the season and that was his 14th goal of the campaign in all competitions.
His future is uncertain beyond this season, although he has made it clear he would like to remain with the Catalan giants.
However, he clearly still has good relations with some at Old Trafford, with Fernandes posting on Instagram: ‘Congratulations my brother. You deserve that.’
Rashford’s post read: ‘What a night 🤩🏆 Won El Clásico. Won the League. ❤️💙 Special feeling. Visca el Barça!!’

The 28-year-old suggested that signing off with a trophy was the ‘perfect way I want it to end’ at Barcelona, but has also made it clear that he wants a deal done to keep him in Spain.
‘This is the perfect way I want it to end,’ Rashford told ESPN. ‘I’m very happy, I just want to enjoy today.
‘I live in the moment. At the end of the season we will see. I came here to win and we do this, so I’m very happy. It’s an incredible feeling.

‘The feeling is amazing. It’s been a long season with ups and downs, but I think we deserved to win [La Liga].’
Asked if he would still be a Barcelona player come the start of next season, Rashford added: ‘I don’t know. I am not a magician, but if I was, I would stay. We will see. I came here to win. I want to win as many things as I can.
‘This is one more to add to this. This is a wonderful team, they’re going to win so much in the future; to be a part of that would be special.’

Speaking last month, interim Manchester United boss Michael Carrick left the door ajar for a Rashford return to Old Trafford.
‘There’s decisions to be made on certain things, and obviously Marcus is in that situation,’ said Carrick. ‘But at this point in time, nothing’s been decided.
‘It will be, because it has to be at a certain point, but at this stage, there’s nothing to say.’
