  "textContent": "O’Reilly scored twice in the Carabao Cup final against the Gunners last month (Picture: Getty)\n\nNico O’Reilly will be available for Manchester City’s Premier League showdown against Arsenal on Sunday.\n\nThe City academy graduate has been in wonderful form in recent weeks, scoring twice against the Gunners in the Carabao Cup final in March.\n\nAfter helping his side keep a clean sheet in the 4-0 thrashing of Liverpool in the FA Cup, the left-back was on the score sheet again last time out against Chelsea, scoring another header to spark a second-half drubbing of the Blues in west London.\n\n10 minutes after his goal against Chelsea, O’Reilly went down clutching his left hamstring with Rayan Ait-Nouri brought onto replace him.\n\nPep Guardiola did not provide an update on the youngster’s condition after that game.\n\nBut speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday, he told reporters his young star is ‘fine’ and available for selection.\n\nO’Reilly has started 24 of City’s Premier League matches this term, predominantly at left-back.\n\n##  Get personalised football updates every day\n\nSign up to our daily football newsletter and choose your team to get the latest news, rumours and more about your favourite team.\n\nO’Reilly was on target again against Chelsea (Picture: Getty)\n\nIf passed fit, he is expected to slot in beside Abdukodir Khusanov and Marc Guehi who are set to continue at centre-half with Ruben Dias ruled out.\n\nThe Portugal international has missed City’s last four games and remains unavailable this weekend with an ankle injury.\n\nJosko Gvardiol remains a long-term absentee with doubts over the fitness of John Stones, who has been limited to just 15 appearances this season.\n\nAfter Arsenal’s slip-up against Bournemouth last weekend, a victory for City will see them reduce the gap at the summit of the Premier League to just three points.\n\nGuardiola’s side also have a game in hand still to play – against Crystal Palace on a date still to be confirmed.\n\nComment now Comments \nAdd Metro as a Preferred Source on Google\nAdd as preferred source\n",
