"textContent": "Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is out for six weeks due to an ankle injury (AMA/Getty)\n\nReece James and Trevoh Chalobah have been ruled out of Chelsea’s Premier League match against Everton on Saturday due to injury.\n\nChalobah was stretchered off with an ankle injury during Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat at home to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night.\n\nJames, meanwhile, injured his hamstring during the defeat to Newcastle United last Saturday and missed the loss to PSG at Stamford Bridge this week.\n\nDuring his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Rosenior issued an update on both Chalobah and James ahead of his side’s trip to Everton this weekend.\n\n‘It wasn’t until later after the game that I saw the image. I think everyone’s seen it and then you’re really, really worried for the next day,’ Rosenior said.\n\n‘Obviously, it’s never good that Trevoh is out for any period of time, but fortunately, it’s nowhere near as serious as we first feared. It’s still a serious injury but we’re looking at a period of maybe six weeks, which is disappointing.\n\nReece James will miss Chelsea’s trip to Everton this weekend (Getty)\n\n## Your football fix\n\n**Metro** 's Head of Sport James Goldman delivers punchy analysis, transfer talk and his take on the week's biggest stories direct to your inbox every week.\n\nSign up here, it's an open goal.\n\n‘But from where we were a couple of days ago, straight after the game, yeah, we are in a better place than what we were before.’\n\nOn goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen and James, Rosenior said: ‘Filip had his scan and needed a minor operation. It’s a matter of weeks.\n\n‘We’re going to look more at Reece more after the international break. It’s not serious but there’s something in his hamstring we’re going to look at it after the break.’\n\n**For more stories like this, check our sport page**.\n\n**Follow Metro Sport for the latest news on**Facebook,** Twitter and Instagram**.\n\nComment now Comments \nAdd Metro as a Preferred Source on Google\nAdd as preferred source\n",
