  "textContent": "Tavernier on United’s list of wide options (Picture: Getty)\n\nManchester United will explore a move for Bournemouth star Marcus Tavernier this summer.\n\nRebuilding in midfield is a top priority at Old Trafford this summer but Michael Carrick confirmed last week the club are also interested in signing a left winger.\n\nUnited allowed four wide men to leave the club last summer in Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford with Amad Diallo the only natural wide option in the squad, also preferring a role on the right.\n\nMatheus Cunha can operate on the left while Patrick Dorgu showed real promise in an advanced role on that side of the pitch before suffering a hamstring injury in January.\n\nIn any case, United are strongly considering bolstering that area of the pitch.
