Bustling foodie pub and service/atmosphere was on point.’\n\nSimilarly, Adam Pollock wrote: ‘Really good restaurant this and a good local pub too. Have eaten there for the second time now, and it gets better! First time out, we had the steak and the lamb. The steak was excellent. Went again for a Sunday lunch and the roast chicken was genuinely one of the best I can remember.’\n\nA reviewer known only as Turkleton also shared some incredibly high praise, adding: ‘I write this review with great regret. Now it’s going to get crazy busy for Sunday lunch, and it’s all my fault.\n\n> https://www.instagram.com/p/DKjwGSxtzjd/\n\n‘This is the best Sunday roast in town. Perfect roast potatoes, the gold standard for a good roast. But the beef isn’t some nonsense top side. This is served on the bone. Perfect steak crust, homemade horseradish. Loads of gravy. Not too much veg. Just a nice hispi cabbage. Oh, I forgot the most important thing next to potatoes. The yorkie. It’s world-class.’\n\nThe desserts are also a hit with customers, in particular the £9 doughnut, which has been sold in flavours such as Strawberry & Chamomile and Rhubarb & Custard.\n\n‘The doughnut is a thing of beauty,’ claimed Nick Brown, and he’s not the only one who feels this way, as Adam Pollock gave the doughnut an ‘11/10’ rating.\n\nOn Instagram, social media users say the doughnut is ‘delicious’ and they ‘think of it daily’.\n\nPOLL\n\nPoll\n\n### Have you been to The Kerfield Arms?\n\n * YesCheck\n\n * NoCheck\n\n * It's on my must-visit list!Check\n\n\n\n\nThe Kerfield Arms is located at 16 Grove Lane in Camberwell in a Victorian building.\n\nThere’s been a pub on the site for almost 130 years, and it’s operated under various names, most recently being known as The Crooked Well until 2025.\n\nLast year, in April, the pub was refurbished and reopened as The Kerfield Arms, and it’s run by Adam Symonds and Rob Tecwyn, with chef Jay Styler heading up the kitchen.\n\nIts Michelin Star isn’t its only accolade – the pub was recently named one of the top 50 gastropubs in the UK, coming in at number 25.\n\nThe pub has a ‘younger brother’ in The Baring pub in Islington, also run by Symonds and Tecwyn.\n\nDoes The Kerfield Arms serve your favourite pub roast in London, or do you think there’s somewhere better?
