About the World-Beings

As I said in my last Article I have been writing in this world for years. As such I do have some differences from standard lore for some of the beings. Some of it is inspired from various books I’ve read over the years as well as movies I’ve watched as all good worlds should be. I do have a few creatures that I have worked more on than others as they have come up in my stories. The main crew you’ll find referenced are Angels, Demons, Elves, Pixies, Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and Silvers and Mahas. Now I’m sure most everyone is quite well aware of most of these as they are common beings but Silvers? Mahas? Those are my little spins on Elementals(Silvers) and half-angels/half-demon(Mahas). Mahas are specifically half-angel half-demon and I do think a being own creation as I’ve not seen anything like it. And no I don’t thing Nephilim count as those tend to be described as half-human. Feel free to correct me because I would love to see what others have done with that idea! Silvers are a little different than your traditional Elemental as frankly I didn’t look too much into them before writing. I will state I was fifteen and the internet was not a big thing in my house at the time. So all they have in common with an Elemental is that they are based on an element. Outside of that it’s whatever my crazy mind came up with. Witches are a mix of your standard media witch and other bits and pieces I’ve picked up over the years. They tend to be human but their power level does vary. Werewolves. Well I’ve had some fun with these guys I will admit. There are two base type those who are born and those who are turned. Both are in my world. Then you add in those who can change at will and those who cannot. Both are in my world. Last you have those who look like actual wolves and those that look like something from a horror movie. Both are in my world. To put the cherry on top just because you have a born wolf doesn’t mean they will be able to turn at will and look like a wolf. Everything depends on the person. Vampires first off do not sparkle in the light. They also have two types. Those that are day and those that are night. Those that need blood and those that don’t. Again these are based on person to person. The only things that all vampires have are red eyes and fangs when they get emotional or when they want. Pixies are one of my favorites. First off they are normal human size. They cannot lie. They have wings and magic. There are those who can live among the normal population with the iron and such and those that can’t. They also tend to be vibrantly colored. Elves, now you are either thinking Tolkien or Harry Potter. Mine are closer to Tolkien. There’s a range of them from those who have a mastery of weapons to those who can communicate with animals like a Disney princess. Demons are not just the fire and brimstone of some media. Before shows that portrait them in good lighting I was already writing them as complicated beings. My take on them as a race is that they have magic as well as innate mastery of combat. Angels in my stories are not the soft gentle beings that can do no wrong. No they too are complicated and morally gray. They have magic as well but is the opposite of Demons. They also have defensive capabilities. Last I felt I should note that there are normal humans in my world as well and they at some stories outnumber the other beings and in others it trades.
