Lab Notes #007: Semble Following
Today we are excited to announce the launch of our very own social graph (AKA network.cosmik.follow). This means that you can now follow accounts and collections in Semble, letting you create a much more personalized and social experience.
Why follow collections?
Collections represent a particular lens through which Semble users perceive and curate the world around them. By following a collection, you are curating a feed that is filtered through these lens's. While you can follow a user directly, collections let you manage your attention more deliberately and connect more directly with particular aspects of your peers' taste.
How it works
On both profile and collection pages you will see a 'Follow' button:
Both of which will notify the user:
On the explore page, you can switch between the Global feed (which shows everyone's activity) or the Following feed, which only shows the activity of users and collections you follow.
We've added a new 'Network' tab to every profile to make it easier to navigate this new social graph:
As well as a 'Following' tab to the Collection page:
Lastly, you can even follow @margin.at collections from Semble!
That's all for now. Happy curating ✨
