are u poor? tired? do u have a weak meat body that u have to keep feeding every fucking morning anyway? make some oatmeal loaf so u can cram nutrition into urself with minimal effort upon crawling out of bed. makes ~12 bars depending on how big u cut em * 4 eggs * 2 cups mashed banana (or pureed cooked carrot/ sweet potato) * 6 cups dry rolled oats. i use 'old fashioned' as opposed to instant but either would work. any kind of plain cereal is a good addition * some kind of seeds/nuts. roasted deshelled sunflower seeds are dirt cheap at walmart, also roasted peanut bits * sweetener of choice. ive been using up various jams/ jellies/ fruit preserves but molasses is nice too. amount is up to your taste * optional, but a few tablespoons of peanut butter is good * 1 tsp salt (nuts often come pre-salted so watch out) * spices of choice. i like nutmeg and clove preheat oven to 350 f. grease a 13 x 9 cake pan. mix everything thoroughly. it isnt going to be runny like cake batter, but all the oats should be covered in enough liquid to bind it all together. theyre gonna absorb some moisture as it cooks, and depending on your preference of how soft the final bar is, and the moisture content of your sweetener/ fruit puree, you may need to add around a cup of water. pack into the baking tray, pressing out air bubbles and smoothing tbe top. cover with tinfoil, and bake for about 45 min. once it cools, cut into bars and refrigerate. the final bar should be dense but flakey and chewy. a chewy style granola bar but not so incredibly sweet. more water and a longer cook time results in something closer to soft oatmeal.
