hello, this is the project i made an alt to post about. (Metroid 40th anniversary homage game as a legally-distinct property)

I've been working crazystyle hard on this since late 2024 and I'd be remiss if I couldn't share it with my friends on the greatest place to post. The idea was to take the general layout of the original NES Metroid, and crunch it down into the densest, most compact legible space. This was going to be a game with a teensy scope of a "demake" but instead I've just been sinking idea after idea into it. I'm planning to open-source this engine under a copyleft license on Codeberg once it's released. It will be entirely playable in-browser, so no downloads from shady opossums necessary!! (a lot of you know who i am but "download my exe" is a scam as old as the internet) okay thank you, see you in three months ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ
