Boomer Sooner!

I know that a lot of you don't follow college sports, but here this is anyway. Congrats to the University of Oklahoma for winning the college baseball national title last night. They had won this title two times before, but the last time was in 1994 and the first time was in 1951. They defeated the University of North Carolina for the title. The winning game last night was 13-2 and they started the post season run as an unranked team. They lost only one game in the post season play, defeating Georgia Tech (No. 2) , Kansas (No. 15), Alabama (No. 7)and Georgia (No. 3) - twice - to get to the CWS where they won two and lost one to UNC. Boomer Sooner! Boomer Sooner! Boomer Sooner! OKU! I'm a Sooner born and a Sooner bred, and when I die I'll be a Sooner dead. Rah, Oklahoma! Rah, Oklahoma! Rah, Oklahoma! O K U! My husband and I met and married while students at OU and have remained fans.
